Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

I am using pidgin in karmic koala beta.
Pidgin version is Pidgin 2.6.2.
The notification pop-up when users appear online is rendered much below the usual place. Is this normal?
I am attaching two screenshots for the same.

Hi,

This is supposed to be a "feature". I agree with you that it is a bug, though. There are already some reports on this issue, so this bug is a duplicate of bug 419894.
