Bug Description
Dear All,
please find the error message above. Since I updated (sudo apt-get update &upgrade) my Ubuntu 9.04 on an Acer 6000 TravelMate laptop cca. two weeks ago. I cannot boot the system, not even from a live CD. In the machine's setup there is no possibility to control apic. I also tried to edit the command line entitled 'kernel' while adding the nolapic noapic commands. The windows xp still runs because it was never connected to the internet. Any good solutions? Please do not hesitate to ask for additional information.
Kind regards
