Sound doesn't work. When launched from terminal - I get this error

I received this error when starting glest from the command line in Ubuntu 9.10:

Please ignore those error messages, they are not related to the sound problem.
The Bluetooth service was disabled but the alsa config is till pointing to it, to fix those errors just:
sudo apt-get purge bluez-alsa

Please restest this is the megaglest transition package, i beleive this would no longer be reproducable. To get megaglest check out:
