Bug Description
1) OS : ubuntu jaunty (9.04)
2) openshot: v0.9.43
the default alsa device in Jaunty is of type "pulse", and it does not seem to work with openshot : the sound is choppy then finally stops, freezing openshot.
To work around that bug, I have to edit ~/.asoundrc to set another device as default.
It is a shame that openshot does not work with pulse audio, which is the default for jaunty.

OpenShot uses SDL to output both video and sound. Let's try this, see if you have this package installed. If not, install it and see if this improves the stability any. Good luck!
