Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

When vlookup is used that references to an array in the same file there is no problem. When a reference to an array linked
to an other file there is a problem.
When a lookup field is empty and a calculation is done using this field, the contents is handled as if the contents were zero.
However when a loopup field is empty and this data is form another file, the contents is not handled as zero, but returns an error.

Two files are attached.
vlookup_1.ods with data that will be referenced to and a local vlookup
vlookup_2.ods that references to the same data

The problem did not occur in version 3.0 of OpenOffice; It is new in 3.1.1.
I have some spreadsheets now that are not functional anymore.

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.
