while upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10beta dbus 1.2.16-0ubuntu8 fails

ubuntu 9.04 --> upgrade to 9.10 beta

while post install of dbus this mesages where printed on screen after that init process pending with 100% CPU usage and script stop doing anyhing

Richte dbus ein (1.2.16-0ubuntu8) ...
Installiere neue Version der Konfigurationsdatei /etc/dbus-1/session.conf ...
The system user `messagebus' already exists. Exiting.

Richte dbus ein (1.2.16-0ubuntu8) ...
Lege Systembenutzer »messagebus« (UID 108) an ...
Lege neuen Benutzer »messagebus« (UID 108) mit Gruppe »messagebus« an ...
Erstelle Home-Verzeichnis »/var/run/dbus« nicht.

doing dpkg --configure -a after breking install process
still got the same issue

/var/lib/dpkg/info/dbus.postinst configure 1.2.12-0ubuntu2.1 hags infinity

This problem also present here. Upgrading from Ubuntu 32bit from 9.04 to 9.10.
