Can't install package - privileges error message

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kpackagekit

Tried to install kcheckgmail. Selected kcheckgmail to install, clicked apply, got to a dialog to confirm installation of dependencies, clicked "ok", got error message:
You do not have the necessary privileges to perform this action.
I'm running the kubuntu netbook beta.
Package installs just fine from konsole using aptitude.

You must use sudo apt-get install kpackagekit

Also you can try to install with Ubuntu software center

The above message is incorrect. You can fix this by installing the "policykit" package with apt-get. (Run konsole, type sudo apt-get install policykit) After installing PolicyKit, KPackageKit should work.
