dolphin is alsways opening a second small window

Binary package hint: kdebase

Each time I open Dolphin, a second small dolphin windowis opening , with the X logo in place of the dolphin one...
I've the dbg packages installed, I don't know if it is because of that ?

Oh, that was actually a toolbar pane that had come unattached from the window, I had this bug too. But it seems to have fixed itself by 9.10. Is it still a problem for you?

As nixternal said me, try to remove ~/.kde/share/config/dolphinrc, it will probably fix the problem.

It's a dolphin bug anyway, and would best be reported at bugs.kde.org.

The error must be triggerd by a setting somewhere in the .kde folder. As I had many errors last few days with a .kde folder witch is maybe 2 or 3 years old, I deleted the complete directory. As I recreated them by new login, some errors, including that one disappeared. There was also some problems with akonadi and nepomuk (witch now works fine) and a problem with logout, restart and shutdown. Maybe the errors are accociated together. I think the only thing you have to do is to find out, witch setting cause that.
