Bug Description

Binary package hint: empathy

When trying to share desktop with empathy it complains vino is not compiled with telepathy.

This is Ubuntu netbook remix, Karmic beta. I guess the problem is really with the version of vino shipped with empathy.

the current vino version is built using telepathy, not sure what the issue is there

Slight embarrassment here. I decided to check what version of vino is installed on my system only to discover that it is not actually installed.

So the error message is technically correct, the version of vino on my system didn't have telepathy ;)

Installing vino solves the problem.

It might be good to fix empathy to give a more helpful error though.
