[acx111] DWL-G650+ not connecting to network

I was asked to refile this bug here, from Network Manager where the problem happens (for me).

I have a DWL-G650+, which works fine using the acx111 drivers, connecting using the Networking tool. However, it will not connect when using Network Manager. Here is the output of
grep -i "networkmanager" /var/log/syslog
