Bug Description
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
The update manager keeps bugging me to update Open Office, but when I do the update, it fails. No matter if I empty the cache and download the files again, always the same.
This is what I get with dpkg:
Preparing to replace openoffice.org-calc 1:3.0.1-9ubuntu3 (using openoffice.
Unpacking replacement openoffice.org-calc ...
dpkg-deb: subprocess <decompress> returned error exit status 1
dpkg: error processing openoffice.

Could you open a terminal window and do the following:
dpkg -c var/cache/ apt/archives/ /openoffice. org-calc_ 1%3a3.0. 1-9ubuntu3. 1_amd64. deb
Does that command output any error message?
You said you empty the cache. Did you do it by running "apt-get clean"? If not, could you try that, too.
Did you reboot after trying to upgrade?
