Bug Description
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
with pulseaudio installed I 1st: no longer have the microphone working in skype, and 2nd: starting mythtv-frontend kills all sound and requires re-login to reactivare sound.
After de-installing pulseaudio (and dependents) and a re-login the skype microphone is back, and mythtv-frontend behaves as it should. But one of the dependents is the desktop-switcher, so I can't change my desktop on my Acer Aspire One netbook.
I had de-installed pulseaudio yesterday, but today's updates had brought it back in. Why forcing something onto the users, which isn't working yet?
