When I plug in my ION Record Player my keyboard freezes

My record player wont seem to function with Ubuntu and when I plug it in, after maybe 20 characters of typing it freezes my keyboard, forcing me to restart.

I don't know what's going on. It happens everytime I plug it in.

I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy.
