This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at [WWW] https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in initrd-netboot.

Actually, I am not too sure about the package, as I don't fully understand what your bug report is about.
Which CD are you speaking about?
Since it has been a long time, maybe you could give me some news, and if you think this is still an issue?

It had something to do with pxe booting not being consistent with booting the CD.

each release shifts things around a bit, so no clue if it is still the case, and I have no motivation to figure it out :)
I report things as I find them, not because I think they are important, but just because I happen to find it. the idea is "every little bit helps" but I think that falls apart when the bugs get this old.

so go ahead and close it.

Moving this bug's package from my initial guess: initrd-netboot, to what seems more appropriate: pxe.
Moving from Incomplete to Confirmed.
Unassigning me, as I was just acting as a bug triager making sure the bug was complete enough.

Let's hope a Master Of The Universe will one day pass by, and take time to see if this is still an issue.
