Bug Description
Trying to speedup a cut video clip several times, but openshot is crashing the whole session each time. Only thing I found in kern.log is this:
openshot[20774]: segfault at 7f45ef05a850 ip 00007f45ef05a850 sp 00007f45ecb14f18 error 4 in libbz2.
then in auth.log
Oct 2 14:26:53 ubuntu-laptop gdm[3253]: pam_unix(

I haven't been able to reproduce this.
I tested on 0.9.43 using an avi file that I had cut into 3 segments - each segment was set to x3 or x7 speed and they all played as expected.
When does the crash happen - is it when you try and set the speed property or when you try and play the video?
