Yep, I've already packaged it for Debian. The same version works fine on karmic. I'm currently waiting for someone to sponsor the upload to Debian main from mentors,debian.net before I request a sync (although I doubt a Feature Freeze Exception will be granted this close to the final release). Any Debian Developers wishing to sponsor can find the package at:

- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/lives
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main contrib non-free
- dget http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/lives/lives_1.1.3-1.dsc

Alessio:

Thanks for double checking it works fine. When 1.1.2 was released, someone on IRC said that it would be better to wait until the new version was in Debian and then request a sync (also requesting a Feature Freeze Exception), rather than upload it straight to Ubuntu (also requesting a Feature Freeze Exception). If I've been misinformed, please tell me, but otherwise I'm just waiting for a sponsor for Debian.

@Reinhard: sorry for abusing you for this bug report, maybe you can help :).

What's not quite clear to me is why we have lives (source) in multiverse, and the binary lives lying in universe.

No rdepends, tested, I'm fine with getting 1.1.2 in, preferably with a sync from unstable though. +1 from me.

Okay. I'll wait till it gets uploaded to Debian then (I assume you mean 1.1.3 not 1.1.2).

I'm not sure why the source is in multiverse, shouldn't it all be in universe?

Strange. seems like an error to me.

Sorry, I don't remember working on the package before.

Hi,

1.1.4 has been released and uploaded into Debian now, so that would be better than 1.1.3. Scott, would you be able to ACK 1.1.4 as well?

Thanks
Harry Rickards
