Binary package hint: gdebi
.deb files fail to install . the following message appears on the terminal "dpkg: unable to read filedescriptor flags for <package and progress file descriptor>: Bad file descriptor"
System: Ubuntu 9.10beta with updates installed
version of gdebi is 0.5.9
