Bug Description
My DVD/CD drive doesn't mount or unmount correctly under Karmic Alpha 6 x86_64 or the new Beta x86_64, and the eject button doesn't work. I have to mount, unmount, and eject via the command line, and after the first time I eject media and close the tray with no media it locks and won't open again until I reboot. Even command line eject commands won't open the tray after that. The drive works perfectly under Jaunty x86_64, Windows XP Professional x64, and Windows 7 RC x64.
