Bug Description

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-22-k7

Repeatable whenever booting into 2.6.15-22-k7-smp in Dapper, and not present when booting into previous versions. I can't fix volume levels with 'sudo alsactl -F restore', and I have not been able to check whether this affects OSS.
