Bug Description

Binary package hint: libpowersave10

After I "apt-get update" I get a list of the lattest packages to be updated. When I "apt-get upgrade"(or even dist-upgrade) all packages update, except for libpowersave10 which seems to download and install normally but when the update process ends it is still in the updatable packages lists. This happens with adept too, and as a result I always have the adept notifier icon on my system tray because there is still one package(libpowersave10) which needs to be updated all the time.

Do you have any other repositories beside standard one (like kubuntu.no-ip.org)? If yes, you may want to comment them out and redu update + upgrade and see if it helps.
I suspect that you may have older test binary with different md5 sum somewhere in the cache.

You were right I have kubuntu.no-ip.org enabled. I had already thought of that and tried to comment out that line in sources.list but didn't solve the problem. But your comment about something in the cache helped me solve this issue. What I had to do, after commenting out that repository, was to first "apt-get clean" and then update and upgrade, that did the trick!

Thanks ;-)
