resize nick/desc/tag

Bug Description

is it just me or does the resize of handles not work right ? everytime i restart dc i have widen the tag, desc and email settings etc etc etc? why doesn't this remember the settings ? fyi this is on LinuxDC++ version: 1.0.3+bzr / Core version: 0.75 / revision 330.

It works for me. I implemented this change probably 3 years ago and nobody's really changed it since, so not sure why it doesn't work for you. To clarify: you are talking about the individual column sizes and not the entire nick list pane size, right? Does it remember it if you just close and re-open the same hub without shutting down the program? Or only if you restart? Does it work if the window is maximized versus non-maximized? Does it work if you don't auto-connect to the hub on startup?

I ask all this because it sounds similar to bug 354979 and bug 379298.

well being as i also posted this as an issue (as u pointed out) in https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxdcpp/+bug/354979, nothing was resolved, so here we are again, its still not resolved in gentoo linux:

and further to my prior post with regards to icons this does affect both 32bit and 64bit gentoo, cant close the client properly n it remeber the settings or killall -9 x and i have also wiped out all my settings with the exception of the hash files and redid my settings, to the same effect?

i read the changelog and noticed when you implimented it dont know why it was doing it, dont think dc was exiting properly tbh, with the update to latest svn it seems work right now on both pc's sorry for the waste of time bug report, please file as invalid
