Bug Description

Binary package hint: lm-sensors

In Jaunty I installed lm-sensors, ran sensors-detect and could see a bunch of sensor output, among them coretemp and the the speed och the CPU fan.

Updated to Karmic yesterday, have tried to reinstall lm-sensors and run sensors-detect again (and rebooted), but I can only get sensor output for coretemp. Kind of miss to see the rpm for my fan :-(

Lot's of other sensor output missing as well, voltages and stuff, but since I never used to look at them I can't say exactly what is missing.

Thanks for responding.

I finally had some time to look into this, and I found my dmesg output is consistent with this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/fedora/+source/linux/+bug/382211
