browser opens with three tabs

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

when i open firefox it always opens three tabs , just as if i had accidentally hit the app short cut three times .Then if hit the home page short cut it does the same thing . it can be off putting , and i would like to be able to stop it

Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. It seems like you might have accidentally set the home page to 3 tabs. Could you please try setting your home page to a single page and see if you still have this issue?

Hi Micah , well after looking to follow your suggestion i could not
locate where it was set to 3 pages , but whilst i was in preferences i
reset to default home page navigated to the firefox start page and reset
the default and it seems to have solved my problem , i will be intouch
if it changes again .

Try what micah said ... also please try to disable all your extensions one-by-one in tools -> addons ... i think its likely that this will fix your issue - please tell us what extension caused this. In case it does not help, tell us what pages you see (or provide screenshots)
