Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I'm getting a "Battery may be broken" dialog on login on current Karmic, on a EEE 900. I think this has been happening on every boot since I installed Karmic alpha 6. The battery is usually nearly full, but the dialog claims it is at 1.9%.

It's been happening for longer than alpha 6. I think it started for me the first alpha version of Karmic I tried (3).

Isn't that bug only a consequence of bug #434251 ?

Same problem here, also on an Eee PC900 and Karmic (final release). I think it's different from the wrong time estimation (though that occurs as well) since it gives me this message every single time at login.

I have the same dialogue appearing every start with 2 eeepc 701 4G netbooks. Is there no way to disable it at this point?
