Notifications are red with black grid using ati radeon XAA acceleration

If I change the ATI acceleration mode from EXA to XAA for more performance of my ati mobility 7500, the notifications are red with a black thin grid. You can`t see any text!
May be its a bug of the radeon driver, but all other applications and notifications work fine.
