Banshee sometimes starts but window never appears (amd64)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

When trying to start banshee (ubuntu 9.04) it never appeard on the desktop and the icon is nowhere to be found. I had to kill the offending process and try again, after which it worked.

When trying to start banshee with the other process still running (I forgot to check) I got the following bt:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I haven't been able to reliably reproduce it and haven't seen it since upgrading. Probably best to close for now.
