rhythmbox always displayed in task bar even when minimized from the try

Hi Sebastien;
1- Yes, it's reproducible.
2- Open rhythmbox you will have an icon in the notification area and a button in the task bar (see screenshot n°1) then click in the icon in the notification area, rhythmbox window will be minimised and the button in the task bar still (see screenshot n°2)

could you run gconftool-2 -R /apps/rhythmbox/plugins/status-icon and copy the log there?

I can't reproduce this bug in my Home PC. I got this bug in my Work PC, I will send the log this monday.

that's not a bug, you did set the status-icon-mode to 2 which does that where the behaviour you want is 3 which is the default value
