Bug Description

I tried to reduce the size of the sample data but could not reproduce, so this will have to do ... ;-)

Reproduce :
1. Activate the editor for this description and edit the sample text.
------- BEGIN OF SAMPLE -------------
The answer page displays registration/status information between the page heading and the bread crumbs. Like this:

import did not create a second template
Answered Question #83440, asked on 2009-09-21 by Peter Warasin
Language: English
Launchpad Translations >> Questionst test

This information should be split up and moved to the registering slot and the main slot.

------- END OF SAMPLE -------------
2. This should fail with a JSON error message.
3. Paste the sample to the description (completely replace) of some other bug (on staging) and save. -> That should *not* fail.
4. Edit the description there and save. -> It should fail again.
5. Replace the >> in the sample (on staging, not here!) with :: and save. -> It shoudl *not* fail

What was the json error, Henning? Any chance it was the "Entity-body was not a well-formed JSON document." error, as seen on bug 331990?

Also, as I reported on bug 423924 (marked as a dupe of 331990), I couldn't always reproduce it.
