Bug Description

Using Ubuntu Karmic Alpha 6, I encountered an error when trying to upgrade the distribution.

I installed it in VirtualBox to test. The install went well, and after that I tried to upgrade all packages with 'sudo apt-get upgrade' after 'sudo apt-get update'. The first time I did the upgrade, dpkg failed with error code 2:
(Reading database ... 105507 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace initscripts 2.87dsf-4ubuntu3 (using .../initscripts_2.87dsf-4ubuntu7_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement initscripts ...
Processing triggers for sreadahead ...
Processing triggers for man-db ...
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
The second time I issued the 'sudo apt-get upgrade' statement, all went well.
