"Home" & "Trash" missing in "Files & Folders"

Hi there,

I upgraded my standard Jaunty to Karmic Alpha 6 Netbook Remix . I really like the new interface of the UNR.

What I miss is a shortcut in the "Files & Folders" menu to my /home- and Trash-folder. I know I can add them as Nautilus bookmarks but by doing this I will end up having ugly doubles in the "Places" list of Nautilus.

It also might be good to have the option "Empty trash" by right-clicking on the Trash icon in "Files & Folders" since theres no bottom panel with the trash anymore.

Than you for taking the time to upgrade to Karmic. Unfortunately, our developers have been swamped chasing critical bugs. I have marked this as a wishlist item, as it does make sense to have, but there is no way to get it into karmic at this time. Keep on testing and reporting issues, your reports help us to improve this product.

I agree that this is not a priority, but I think we should have some way to manually change the shortcuts in both the "Files & Folders" and "Favorites". We used to be able to change the order of the icons in the latter, but it's no longer in the menu editor.

As for Files & Folders, I don't need my Home folder there. I also don't need the "Desktop" link since my desktop is the UNR interface and this folder is pretty useless for me.

It seems strange that the home folder isn't included in the Files & Folders view. Hopefully this can be fixed for Lucid.

Please Leo, do not add random random package when you shouldn't. netbook-meta is the metapackage containing the list of default application on netbook edition, NOTHING related to parameters in UNE edition.

As well, this bug should be renamed in lucid as home as been added.
