Bug Description
This appears to be pretty similar to https:/
If I use the live CD (version 9.04) and select "Icelandic" under the "Keymap" everything works fine- the command line uses the Icelandic keyboard layout and so does the rest of the system.
The virtual consoles (<ctrl> + <alt> + [1...6]) however don't use the Icelandic keymap- and on old computers where it's not necessarily possible to use GUI this can be troublesome.
(I got my Ubuntu 9.10 disk from ShipIt)
