However, according to this report, you are not using the most recent version of this package for your Ubuntu release. Please upgrade to the most recent version (3.5.5) and let us know if you are still having this issue. Thanks in advance.

So does this mean that I have to keep on upgrading every 2 to 3 weeks every time a new update comes out? e.g. 3.3.3 and 3.5.5 and then 3.5.8 and on and on?

It is suggested as there are usually security fixes in each release.
