simply because acerhdf is a tool to control the fan of the aspire ONE (netbook)
i have almost the same message acerhdf: unknown (unsupported) BIOS version Acer /Aspire 5715Z /V1.45, please report, aborting!
solution : compile your own kernel without acerhdf
i think it would be nice to :
a: blacklist the module, because it is only need for 2 acer ONE model (versus hundreds of other acer laptop)
b: only tell this kind of message when the computer is at least an acer ONE
