installation from breezy to dapper failed

Bug Description

Installing from 5.10, Breezy Badger on computer with internet connection. I've been using breezy for a long time and its working just fine. The computer is configured with swedish language so messages below are freely translated to english. Installation procedure as follows....

ALT-F2

gksudo "update-manager -d"

New distribution release 'dapper' is available (Pressing updates and then upgrade)

Updating to Ubuntu "Dapper" 6.06

Third party sources disabled (Pressing close)

v. Preparing upgrade
v. Changing sources for software
o. Downloading and installing upgrades
 . Cleaning up
 . Restarting computer

Do you want to start the upgrade? (Pressing start Upgrade)

A Fatal error occured

Please report this as a bug and include the files /var/log/dist-upgrade.log and /var/log/dist-upgrade-apt.log in your report. The upgrade aborts now.
Your original sources.list was saved in /etc/apt/sources.list.distUpgrade.

Thanks a lot for your bugreport and the logs.

I fixed the problem in my local repository and it will be part of the next upload. I'll ping you when the new code is available and would very much appreciate if you could test it then again (tonight, maybe tomorrow).

I uploaded a new dist-upgrader_20060509, it should be available in 3-4h. I would appreciate if you could give it a try then :)

I tried again today and this time the update finished ok. Im now running Dapper for the first time and it seems to work just fine. Among other improvements I can now access my usb memory without getting heavy headache.

Could you please attach your /var/log/dist-upgrade*.log files to this bugreport? I would be interessted in them to make the upgrade better :)

Did it ask you for a cd medium? For what packages?

Yes it asked for a cd but I dont know what packages it was looking for. I inserted the CD and left in the drive during the whole update procedure. Otherwise I think it asked me only one more question, that was about permission to replace an configuration file (/etc/jvm).
