Bug Description

Karmic Alpha6

When booting the LiveCD and Selecting Spanish, the keyboard Layout is set as USA.

Also, the third level selector is not working anymore. By default, Alt Gr was the third level selector in Jaunty.
("Right Alt, Shift+Right Alt key is Multi_Key")

When selecting the above labelled checkbox, the problem disapears.

The third level selector doesn't even work when selecting English on the boot menu.

Should be:
Keyboard Model: Generic 105-key (lntl) PC
Layout: Spanish
->Options: Key to choose 3rd Level ->"Right Alt, Shift+Right Alt key is Multi_Key"

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in Ubiquity, the ubuntu installer.
