Bug Description
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Hi, I have one of these:
http://
It is just a garden variety A2DP device, looks like headphones, and works fine with, e.g. SymbianOS and MacOS.
I could swear that it worked fine in Jaunty although my memory isn't so clear on that. Anyway, in Karmic, I can successfully pair with it but I can't connect to it. If I select "Connect" in the device's submenu from the Bluetooth tray icon, it does nothing. It doesn't show up in the Audio Preferences device list, so PulseAudio doesn't know anything about it.
I don't know where to report this bug, but it Just Does Not Work... and it seems like other people are actually using A2DP semi-successfully.

Hello,
for me AD2P works fine on a Nokia audio gateway (can't recall the model now).
Could you kill bluetooth daemon and laucnh ot manually with the command:
sudo bluetoothd -d -n
then try to connect as you did, and attach the output here.
Thanks.
