Bug Description
Hey! as bug #171271 (sf1485493) now is about printing margins only, I want to request "normal" margins as well as bleed. Margins are used to mark the content area of a poster, bleed is the 3mm around a page that you make your document bigger so that there are no white stripes left, after the printshop cut it to the right format.
Margins are really simple. Basically they are just four guides, that have a certain distance form the page edge. They just guide the designer in where to place the main content. The thing is that they are so important for proper layout, that this should be a document property and not have to be set manually with 4 guides.
Bleed is a bit more complicated, if done well. Basically it also is just a guiding rectangle outside of the page. However, it would be nice to be able to export the page including and excluding the bleed. It would also be nice to be able to toggle to see everything outside the bleed area or not to (just as it would be nice to toggle hiding everything outside of the page)
Come on, make this great tool even better :-)
