[unreproducable] Synaptic doesn't stop update when cancel is pressed

Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

When i press 'cancel' during an update , Synaptic does not halt the current update, instead it only stops fetching the package from the repositories but continues to apply the already downloaded packages/updates.

I feel very sorry, but I cannot reproduce this behavior here. Do you click on "cancel" during the download?

I'm using Ubuntu Dapper Beta. Yes, this happens when i click cancel during the download. When 'cancel' is clicked it only stops the current download not the whole process.
