Bug Description
Karmic Alpha 6 boot error messages-
unknown key 'SYMLINK{unique}' in /lib/udev/
unknown key 'SYMLINK{unique}' in /lib/udev/
The lines in question-
3: -- SUBSYSTEM=="block", SYMLINK{
4: -- SUBSYSTEM!="block", SYMLINK{
udev[1045] NAME="%k" is superfluous and breaks kernel supplied names, please remove from
/lib/udev/
I removed NAME="%k" from these lines and the error messages ceased but I didn't notice any other change.
can not read '/etc/udev/
This is a reference to a broken link ->../hdparm.rules (the file hdparm.rules does not exist)
According to the README in /etc/udev/rules.d this directory should not have SYMLINKS
i can confirm those errors on my machine
