libexo cannot be upgraded or un-installed

The following error message explains:

I had to go to /var/lib/dpkg/info/libexo
to modify the following for a quick fix

libexo-0.3-0.postinst
libexo-0.3-0.prerm
libexo-0.3-0.postrm

by removing the "set -e" line before continuing with an upgrade...
