pidgin deinstallation has no effect on indicator-applet

I deinstalled pidgin with Ubuntu Software Store. Nevertheless it is indicated in the indicator applet. But clicking in the menu item has no effect.

After system restart pidgin is not shown in the indicator applet, instead of pidgin you can see "(null) in small letters.

This is because the launchers are stored in /etc and not in a directory
that a normal removal removes. I'm trying to link them all into a
metabug about that.
