Please upgrade to 2.10

ROX-Filer 2.5 is more than three years old. 2.10 is available upstream and also in Debian unstable so it would be nice if you could upgrade to 2.10 before Karmic's release. It appears quite stable upstream and in Debian and has few dependents so I think it would be safe to get it into Karmic even at this sensitive stage.

I second that, so maybe it could be done for Lucid Lynx before the feature freeze? Also rox 2.5 doesn't work on Karmic, it's compiled with GTK 2.10.3 but Karmic has GTK 2.18.3. I'll file a separate bugreport for that.

Hello, thanks for reporting this. This package is in an unfortunate situation where all Debian's version numbers are considered lower that Ubuntu's version number, so new versions don't get automatically imported from Debian, and it doesn't show up on automatically generated lists of packages needing attention of Ubuntu developers.

So it would be helpful if somebody interested in this package requested imports of new versions from Debian when it's necessary. It's best to do before the Feature Freeze.
