Ubuntu crash (blank screen) when fullscreen video with vlc/totem

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

When i trying to see a video in fullscreen mode (either with vlc and totem), ubuntu hangs up (blank screen) and i need to reboot (i can't do anything, neither open a terminal). I tried it with flv video and avi.

In log syslog i found:

Hi eliogurt,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

Hi,

with ubuntu 9.10 karnic koala the bug has resolved. Now i can reproduce at full screen any video that i tried.
