Bug Description
If you follow these steps, you end up with a corruptly formatted email:
1. Create a new message
2. Specify your own email address
3. Give it a subject
4. As body type some characters, anything
5. Then change the style to preformat
6. Paste in the three lines from the attached text file, it should look like a table
7. Click send
The user is not asked whether they want to send it in HTML email (which would probably fix the problem), and the email message that arrives doesn't look like the one that was sent.

Please make sure to check preferences menu (edit-> preferences- >composition- >general- >send options the first section should have an ask me what to do.
I have it checked and it asked me how i would like to send it. You can also choose to always send HTML or plain text and send as both.
What did you have set there by default or at least when you filed this bug.
