Pressing restart in only-ubiquity mode throws an endless loop of respawning gdm/ubiquity

Boot from the "install mythbuntu" item in the CD menu. After finishing install, press the "restart" button from ubiquity. There then appears to be an endless loop of gdm/ubiquity restarting that is only stopped by restarting the system.

I got the same issue with Ubuntu Desktop, but it was VirtualBox as well.
Does anybody get the issue in real HW?
