Bug Description

Binary package hint: cryptsetup

Using cryptsetup 2:1.0.6+20090405.svn49-1ubuntu3 on Ubuntu Karmic, I'm not getting asked for a passphrase of the root device anymore on boot and get dropped into a busybox shell.

Therein, the RAID disks are assembled, but the encrypted partition not opened.
"cryptsetup luksOpen" and "vgchange -a y" is required to bring them up.

I'm using a UUID for the "root" kernel boot line.

Please update to 2:1.0.6+20090405.svn49-1ubuntu4 version - it has fixed the problem for me - see bug 430496 for details.
