Concerning the version used as Kpackagekit is not a typical KDE application with an About menu item how to access such information ?

As far as I know kpackagekit cannot list (files) the content of the package as Kpackage did.

Th latest version crashes when an update is proposed ; I use adept instead.

apt-cache policy kpackagekit
You will want to upgrade manually by apt-get (sudo apt-get dist-upgrade) if kpackagekit is crashing.
As long as a package is installed, KPackageKit should be able to list the files.

ok I found the "List of file" after selection of installed package.

If would be neat like in old Kpackage to directly either execute or open with Kate for example a selected item frim this displayed list.
Thanks
