Bug Description
Binary package hint: empathy
Currently, on an up to date karmic, empathy starts and shows the contact list on the desktop. I think the contact list should be hidden on start, at least when empathy is started by the session manager.
There's an option for this (--hide-
empathy:

By the way, I've just tried to launch empathy using --hide- contact- list, but it doesn't work. Empathy still shows the contact list on startup.
