Bug Description

Binary package hint: mythexport

installed a bunch of MythTV packages with main package. Mythexport only one that didn't gel. tried since & by itself. same deal, reporting this error "E: mythexport: subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 1". get same message when executing "complete removal". With thanks & in hope, Pete PS. using 9.04 mythexport 2.0ubuntu1

You fed the installation a bad username/password, and it could not install mythtv-database.
From the log:

Setting up mythtv-database (0.21.0+fixes19961-0ubuntu8) ...
 * Starting MySQL database server mysqld
   ...done.
 * Checking for corrupt, not cleanly closed and upgrade needing tables.
Failed to create or modify database (incorrect admin username/password?)
Try:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure mythtv-database

Changed in mythexport (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
