[Translations] Translations don't get imported into Rosetta automatically

Looking at https://launchpadlibrarian.net/29586511/sane-backends_1.0.20-4ubuntu2_powerpc_translations.tar.gz I found that translations (.po files) in source/po/ don't get imported into Rosetta automatically, because of a non-strandard file naming scheme. This causes the Ubuntu Translations Coordinators team unnecessary work, because we have to manually approve each file and assign the correct language code.
Currently the .po files are named 'sane-backends.$LOCALE.po'. The expected naming scheme is '$LOCALE.po'.
Please strip the 'sane-backends.' part from the filenames, it's redundant anyways.

Also, there is a file named 'template.po' in the same directory, which is completely useless. Please remove it from the package.

This bug is really old, so it would be very nice if someone could re-confirm it.

Looking at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends it seems that nowadays the orig.tar.gz file contains po/$LOCALE.po files, as opposite to the sane-backends.$LOCALE.po in Karmic. The template is imported, and contains the same amount of messages as in the tar.gz, so this bug is fixed.
